IPM Training for Child Care Providers
The Healthy Schools Act requires DPR to provide integrated pest management (IPM) training to directors and staff of child day care facilities. DPR staff conducts training at child care provider conferences and other training events throughout California.
- Required HSA Training
The Basic Online Course is now available!
The child care center IPM Coordinator and any staff who use pesticides, such as disinfectants or sanitizers, must take a DPR-approved training course. The course must be taken before pesticides are used and annually thereafter. To take DPR's online course or to see a list of other approved courses, check the Required HSA Training webpage.
