Section 18 Emergency Exemption Search

The Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR), under the authority of Section 18 of FIFRA (Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act), is authorized by the U.S. EPA to be exempt from any provision of FIFRA when it is determined that an emergency condition exists. An "emergency condition" is defined as an urgent, non-routine situation that requires the use of a pesticide.

This application is designed to allow users to search for active and inactive Section 18 emergency exemptions issued by DPR. Users can enter search criteria (for example, crop/site, U.S. EPA registration number, chemical) to generate a list of matching Section 18 emergency exemptions with their associated use instructions (labels).
