School IPM Advisory Group
Although not required under the Healthy Schools Act of 2000, DPR established the School IPM Advisory Group, an informal advisory group that participated in the development of a more in-depth school IPM program. The group included representatives from key school organizations, regulatory agencies, academia, and other interested organizations. The purpose of the School IPM Advisory Group was to assist DPR with implementation of the School IPM Program and to offer suggestions and comments as outreach materials and training activities were created for and provided to schools.
The School IPM Advisory Group helped ensure that the School IPM Program provided valuable information to parents, teachers, and the school community. DPR continues to provide information and updates about the latest School IPM Program activities to advisory group members and the public through the School IPM electronic mailing list and the School IPM Web site (see Update of DPR’s School IPM Activities).
We thank all members of the School IPM Advisory Group for their help in implementing and improving the School IPM Program.
